Meet Taylor Heasley
Taylor Heasley is an award-winning artist who concentrates in photography and computer imaging. She graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Fine Arts at Ohio Wesleyan University. She is currently attending the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia working towards her Masters of Education. She is currently residing in Alexandria, Virginia and teaches at St. Patrick's Episcopal Day School in Georgetown, Washington D.C.
She is most notably known for her work and internships at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. as well as her award-winning photographs including Abstract Stripes which was selected as the 2nd place winner in the Washington Post D.C. FotoWeek Contest. Her work is shown in a gallery in Asheville, North Carolina and has been shaped by her experiences, education and travels. She photographs events such as weddings, auctions, and receptions. She is also known for her family portraiture and executive portraits. Taylor is one of the primary photographers for the St. Patrick's Director of Communications and Development Office where she photographs formal events and school functions. Taylor's photographs are featured on the St. Patrick website and publications.
